Effective date: March 12, 2026
Reflector ("the App") is a visual audio and accelerometer reactive grid visualizer. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information. The short version: we do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
The App does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
The App accesses your device's microphone and accelerometer sensors in real time solely to drive the on-screen visualization. This sensor data is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
The App does not store any data — locally or remotely. There are no user accounts, no databases, and no server-side components.
The App does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. No data is shared with any third party.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent local laws apply. Because the App does not collect or process any personal data as defined under Article 4(1) of the GDPR, the obligations relating to lawful basis, data subject rights, data protection impact assessments, and cross-border transfers do not apply.
Nevertheless, you retain all rights granted by the GDPR, including the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Since no personal data is held, any such request would result in confirmation that no data exists.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
The App does not collect, sell, or share any personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. There is no data to disclose, delete, or opt out of.
Several U.S. states have enacted comprehensive privacy legislation, including Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana (MCDPA), and others. The App complies with all such laws by virtue of not collecting, processing, or storing any personal data.
The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Under Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), personal data processing requires a lawful basis. Since the App does not process any personal data, no lawful basis is required and all data subject rights are satisfied by default.
The App complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) by not collecting, using, or disclosing any personal information.
The App does not collect personal information as defined under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
The App complies with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) by not handling any personal information.
The App does not collect or process any personal information as defined under South Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
The App complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, by not collecting or processing any digital personal data.
The App may request the following device permissions:
These permissions are used solely for the App's core functionality and do not result in any data collection.
If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Since the App does not collect any contact information, we cannot notify you directly — we encourage you to review this page periodically.
